Guidance, Inspiration and Support

Michelle St.Hill began her career with a three-year apprenticeship, "In other words, I’m ‘Old School’ - she says. She trained under Gino Mangifesta, formally of Vidal Sassoon and Donald MacIntosh formally Glemby International, both respected trainers - in their London salon.

Michelle was a Technical Consultant/Educator with Soft Sheen Products at 22 and a salon owner at 23, in the UK and in Ontario. As a Professional Stylist she has always made a concerted effort to attend all the continued training that the professional community has to offer but has found that there is a void when it comes to texture control. In turn, she is frequently asked if she's interested in consulting and has never passed on exploring the opportunities presented or sharing the knowledge gained. Up until April 2018, Michelle was an Educator with Liquid Keratin - a Canadian owned and Health Canada Approved - Semi permanent smoothing system"

Michelle opened Eddie & Ev, the salon in November 2016 and it is her goal to make the salon a home for the celebration of hair as it grows and a place of knowledge for the woman who wants the freedom to make her own choices.

Michelle holds international and national license/certification; London City and Guilds, Ontario and British Columbia (prior to deregulation). She has recently taken The Deva Curl Academy's 'Art Of Texture' Class in New York.
